I'm Going to South Africa!



That's right... My flight leaves on January 29th and I touch down January 30th in Johannesburg and from there I fly cross country to Cape Town. Yes, I am excited. And nervous. And thrilled at the opportunity to check off another item on my "list of things to do before I die," but I am also sad to have to leave people I love to get this experience of a life time. I wish I could share those moments of awe and joy with everyone I know as they happen...

Hmmmm.... I just thought of something... The internet! Oh, my god. I can use the internet to share those moments! Take pictures. Make movies. Write some stuff... I'm down. I'll call it blogging! And I'll do it all the time and people can check in at their leisure.

Oh man I'm smart...
